The standard length is 3 meters(10 feet).The thickness is generally slightly less than the main tee,commonly 0.4mm,0.5mm,and 0.6mm.The web height matches the main tee(e.g.,50mm,60mm)to ensure a flush ceiling system surface after installation.The flange width is typically 27mm for easy integration with panels.The product strictly adheres to standards like ASTM C645 to ensure compatibility and interchangeability with main tees and other accessories.The surface is smooth and burr-free,preventing damage to panels or installers.
Used in conjunction with main tees,it is suitable for all forms of exposed and concealed ceiling systems.During installation,cross tees are clipped into the main tees at preset intervals(e.g.,600mm or 1200mm)to form a square grid.Gypsum boards are screwed directly onto the cross tees,while mineral fiber or calcium silicate panels can be simply laid onto the flanges of the cross tees.It is the direct intermediary connecting the load-bearing structure to the final finish layer.
