Its core is the"smart"and"changing"特性(characteristic).The switchable film is sandwiched between two pieces of glass and two layers of interlayer film.When powered on,liquid crystal molecules align orderly,allowing light to pass through freely,presenting a transparent state;when powered off,the molecules scatter disorderly,instantly turning the glass frosted,obscuring the view.This change is instant,smooth,and reversible.It can not only be connected to ordinary switches but also integrated into smart central control systems,enabling remote control,mobile APP control,voice control,and even linkage with security or meeting booking systems(e.g.,automatic frosting when a meeting starts).It combines privacy protection and projection screen function,making it a benchmark product for building intelligent office spaces.
The total thickness of the finished glass is usually 10mm-20mm(e.g.,5mm glass+1mm interlayer+switchable film+1mm interlayer+5mm glass).Light transmittance in the frosted state is still relatively high(about 80%),but it is completely non-transparent.Sound insulation performance is similar to laminated glass of the same thickness.AC 60-110V power lines need to be reserved to the frame of each glass panel.The control system can be chosen as single control,group control,or master control based on scene requirements.
