Excellent fire performance,does not melt when exposed to fire,only chars on the surface,effectively preventing flame spread.Extremely low smoke emission and toxicity,significantly improving escape chances during a fire.Thermal insulation performance is comparable to PU,offering good energy savings.Wide temperature resistance range and good dimensional stability.Possesses certain chemical corrosion resistance.
Faces can be color steel sheets or double-sided aluminum foil for ducts.The phenolic foam core is closed-cell with moderate density.Common thicknesses are 20mm,25mm,30mm(for ducts)and 50mm+(for boards).As ductwork,panel width has fixed modules.Connection is mostly tongue-and-groove with specialized sealant.
The primary use is fabricating insulated ventilation ducts for central air conditioning,widely used in public places like malls,hospitals,and subways.Also used as interior wall insulation and roof insulation in buildings with high fire requirements.Used for equipment and pipeline insulation in industries like petrochemicals with fire and explosion protection needs.
