Modern feed mills generally use screw air compressors, which operate stably, have low noise, and a long service life. They provide oil-free or minimal oil compressed air, meeting the hygiene requirements of feed production. Integrated refrigerated air dryers and precision filters effectively remove moisture, oil, and dust from the air, providing a dry and clean air source. Intelligent control allows for automatic loading/unloading based on air consumption, achieving significant energy savings. It is the foundation for ensuring the normal and reliable operation of all pneumatic equipment.

Specifications are indicated by displacement (cubic meters per minute) and rated discharge pressure (MPa). Common displacement in feed mills ranges from 1 to 6 m³/min. Working pressure is typically 0.7-0.8 MPa. Supporting post-treatment equipment (air receiver, dryer, filter) must match the compressor displacement. The power range is from 4kW to 75kW.

The provided compressed air drives a large number of pneumatic devices within the feed mill: including the cleaning system of pulse jet dust collectors, discharge door cylinders of mixers and packing machines, feeder cylinders of pellet mill conditioners, and pneumatic actuators for gates and valves. It is an indispensable power source for factory automation control.
